KATZ RADIO GROUP’S MARY BETH GARBER TO PARTICIPATE IN ALLIANCE FOR WOMEN IN MEDIA FOUNDATION’S SYMPOSIUM
 
Katz Media Group to Sponsor Symposium on November 2 in New York
 
 
New York, NY- November 1, 2011 – Katz Radio Group’s Mary Beth Garber, Executive Vice President, Radio Analysis and Insights, will participate in the Alliance for Women in Media Foundation’s Symposium on Media Branding to Women on Wednesday, November 2, at the PC Richard & Son Theater in New York.
 
Garber will contribute to the panel “Know Your Audience: Meet Today's Female Consumer,” which will examine the media consumption habits of today’s female audience.
 
“It’s an honor to be part of this symposium and to be able to share our findings on the female radio listening habits to better understand women as consumers,” said Garber. “I’m proud to be part of the Alliance for Women in Media Foundation and to continue Katz’s long-time support of this worthy organization.”
 
As a corporate partner, Katz is invested in the Alliance for Women in Media Foundation’s ongoing events and programs, and is one of the symposium’s silver sponsors. The one-day event is the third in a series of symposiums celebrating the organization’s 60th anniversary by spotlighting important issues facing women in today’s world of media. Prior events included the Women’s Media Ownership symposium in Washington D.C. in March and the Digital Literacy for Women symposium in Chicago in September. Katz is also a silver sponsor of the organization’s anniversary luncheon on November 3, which will honor the Alliance for Women in Media’s list of the 60 most inspiring women in media today.
