KATZ TV GROUP PROMOTES DAVE BISCEGLIA
TO EXECUTIVE VICE PRESIDENT OF EAGLE TELEVISION SALES
New York, NY- April 2, 2012– Katz Television Group today announced the promotion of Dave Bisceglia to Executive Vice President of Eagle Television Sales.
As part of his new duties, Bisceglia will oversee Eagle’s TV’s day-to-day operations for all stations and offices. He is the former Vice President, Director of Sales, for Eagle TV in Chicago.
“Dave’s business acumen and vast television experience will be a significant benefit to our company in this new role,” said Leo MacCourtney, Co-President of Katz Television Group. “We are pleased to have him join our leadership team as we enhance and increase our services and offerings to better navigate the changing media landscape.”
Prior to joining Eagle TV, Bisceglia started his career at Blair Television, where he worked for 24 years in various roles of increasing responsibility, including Research Analyst, Account Executive, Team Manager and Director of Sales. He spent 18 years in Blair Television’s New York office before transferring to Chicago in 2001. Bisceglia joined Eagle TV in 2007 in the Chicago office. He is a graduate of Syracuse University and a member of the Media Ad Club of Chicago.
Eagle TV represents 43 major television stations across the country, reaching more than 30% of all television households and covering parts of 31 states and the District of Columbia. The division offers clients stations the opportunity to make a significant impact in specific segments of the market by using various daypart mixes and cross-promotional opportunities between broadcast television, Internet sites and community outreach programs. Bisceglia and the other leaders of the individual Katz TV companies will report directly to Broitman and MacCourtney.
