KATZ TV GROUP PROMOTES CHRIS JORDAN
TO EXECUTIVE VICE PRESIDENT OF CONTINENTAL TELEVISION SALES
New York, NY- April 2, 2012– Katz Television Group today announced the promotion of Chris Jordan to Executive Vice President of Continental Television Sales.
In his new role, he will oversee Continental TV’s day-to-day operations for all stations and offices. Jordan is the former Senior Vice President of the Continental TV.

Jordan began his career in local radio and television as an Account Executive for WTTM in Trenton, New Jersey, and WWHT in Newark, New Jersey. In 1981, he briefly joined Spot Time Limited, a national representation firm, before signing on as an Account Executive for Continental TV in 1982. In 1986, Jordan was promoted to Team Sales Manager for the New York East Team. Two years later, he was named Divisional Vice President, and in 1992, he was promoted to National Sales Manager East Station Group. In 1997, Jordan was elevated to Vice President, General Manager, and in 1999 was named Senior Vice President. He is a graduate of the University of Dayton.

Broitman and MacCourtney were recently named Co-Presidents of Katz Television Group and together will lead the company into a new era of strategic development. As Co-Presidents, they oversee teams dedicated to providing the highest level of service possible while developing ground-breaking new offerings using spot television in combination with broadcasters’ digital capabilities. Jordan and the other leaders of the individual Katz TV companies will report directly to Broitman and MacCourtney.
