KATZ TV GROUP PROMOTES ARTIE ALTMAN
TO EXECUTIVE VICE PRESIDENT OF MILLENNIUM SALES & MARKETING
New York, NY- April 2, 2012 – Katz Television Group today announced the promotion of Artie Altman to Executive Vice President of Millennium Sales and Marketing. He will oversee Millennium’s day-to-day operations for all stations and offices.

Altman started his career as an Account Executive at MMT Sales in New York in 1986 and was promoted to Sales Manager in 1994. One year later, Altman joined United Television Sales to run its New York office. After six years, he left to join WPIX as a local Account Executive. In 2001, Altman joined Millennium Sales & Marketing as the Senior Vice President of the Sinclair division.
The Katz Television Group is expanding its scope as part of an effort to boost creativity and make the most of the latest technological offerings to take advantage of modern, multiplatform television. Broitman and Leo MacCourtney were recently named Presidents of Katz Television Group and together will lead the company into a new era of strategic development. As Co-Presidents, they oversee teams dedicated to providing the highest level of service possible while developing groundbreaking offerings using spot television in combination with broadcasters’ digital capabilities.
Broitman is the former President of Millennium Sales and Marketing and, in his new position, leads ad sales operations, agency and broadcaster connectivity, as well as heading the development of the company's digital capabilities. MacCourtney, the former President of Eagle Television Sales, focuses on strengthening broadcaster relationships, driving business development and overseeing overall strategic direction for the company. Leaders of the individual Katz TV companies report directly to Broitman and MacCourtney.
