Katz Media Group Establishes Political Sales & Strategy Unit For Radio
Katz Media Group (KMG) has announced the launch of a new unit which will focus exclusively on providing Radio marketing and media solutions for political candidate and issue advertisers. Genelle Niblack has been appointed VP/Director of Political Sales & Strategy for this new unit. Her responsibilities will include overseeing political network sales and strategy for all of KMG Radio.

R&R Roundtable on May 31
Bob McCurdy, Regional President of Clear Channel Radio Sales, will participate in R&R's roundtable, "Radio Sales 2007: Time For A New Model?" on Thursday, May 31. The roundtable will bring together leading executives from the radio sales and the advertising communities to discuss key issues, opportunities and challenges for the radio industry.
Brian Knox Named One of the
Most Influential African Americans
in RadioRadio Ink magazine has named Brian Knox, Senior VP/ Director of Corporate Diversity for Katz Media Group, one of the "35 Most Influential African Americans in Radio."

Brian Knox Receives 2007 Urban Knight Award!
Brian Knox, Senior VP/ Director of Corporate Diversity for Katz Media Group will be presented with the Urban Knight Award at a reception during the RAB on February 8. The Urban Knight Awards were begun in 2002 to honor the efforts of those in Urban radio who have carried the banner of improving marketing/sales to the African-American consumer marketplace. The awards ceremony is sponsored by the American Urban Radio Networks.

Katz Media Group Announces New Affinity Network Group: Minorities Achieving Corporate Success (M.A.C.S.)

Katz Media Group has announced the establishment of the organization's most recent affinity network, Minorities Achieving Corporate Success (M.A.C.S.) The mission of M.A.C.S. is to foster excellence and advancement of Katz minorities throughout their careers. The network group has been established to create an open forum of communication through education, networking activities, workshops and seminars to develop top minority talent within the Katz Media Group.
