KATZ TELEVISION GROUP NAMES LEO MACCOURTNEY
PRESIDENT OF EAGLE TELEVISION
New York, October 6, 2008 - Katz Media Group Inc., the largest media representation firm in the United States, today announced that its Katz Television Group named Leo MacCourtney as President of Eagle Television. MacCourtney will take over for Michael Hugger, who will resume his position as Executive Vice President for the Katz Television Group.
MacCourtney previously held the title of Executive Vice President of Agency and Advertiser Relations for the Katz Television Group. He joined Katz TV last year after a 26-year career at Blair Television, where he was President from 1998-2007.

MacCourtney started in the Blair Television training program in 1981 and worked his way up to the position of Sales Manager of its ABC team in 1985. He became Director of Sales for the ABC Group in 1988, President of Blair USA in 1994, and President and CEO of Blair Television four years later. A graduate of the University of Notre Dame, he lives in Convent Station, New Jersey, and is married with four children.
