PROMOTES STUART ESPY AND CHRIS JOYCE TO
SALES MANAGER
New York, March 20, 2008 – Continental Television Sales, a division of Katz Television Group, today announced the promotions of Stuart Espy and Chris Joyce to sales manager. Espy will manage sales for Continental’s Raiders team in Atlanta and Joyce will oversee the company’s Gold team in Chicago.
"Stuart’s strong communication skills and history of building long-term relationships makes him the ideal candidate for this position,” said Michael Spiesman, President of Continental TV Sales. “In addition, Chris’s relationship with the local advertising community and his broadcast sales and management experience indicates he will do an outstanding job in his new role. Espy started his career with Continental in 2000 as a sales assistant in Atlanta. After completing Continental’s sales training program in New York, he returned to Atlanta as an account executive. He served in this position until his most recent promotion to sales manager. Espy is a member of the Atlanta Broadcast Advertising Club and mentors high school students. He received a degree in communications from the University of Georgia.
Joyce started with Continental in 2005 as an account executive. Prior to joining Continental, Joyce worked as a national sales manager for 10 years with NBC’s WMAQ-TV. He also worked as a sales manager with the Univision Television Group. Joyce is a fixture in Chicago’s media community and is currently a member of the Broadcast Advertising Club of Chicago. He holds a degree in economics from Boston College.
