Christal Radio Promotes Steve Sarantos to Senior Vice President

New York, NY, March 3, 2008 – Christal Radio, a division of Katz Radio Group, today announced the promotion of Steve Sarantos to Senior Vice President and Director of Sales. Sarantos, who is based in Los Angeles, will be responsible for overseeing the sales of Christal Radio clients in the western region in addition to pursuing new business development opportunities.

“Steve’s leadership in Los Angeles with our clients, our customers and our staff has been invaluable,” said Brian Benedik, President of Christal Radio. “He is a great asset to the Christal team and we look forward to his continued leadership within the division.”

Sarantos has been with Christal Radio for 13 years. He started his career with the company as an Account Executive in 1995 and received additional promotions to Senior Account Executive and Sales Manager. Prior to joining Christal Radio, Sarantos served as a Business Manager with Bank of America for five years.

"I am excited about the promotion and I look forward to playing a bigger role within Christal Radio,” said Sarantos.

Sarantos holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Public Administration from San Diego State University. He currently resides in Long Beach with his wife and two children.
