Christal Radio Promotes Three to Vice President
New York, NY, February 27, 2008 – Christal Radio, a division of Katz Radio Group, today announced the promotions of Mark Clowers, Lisa Desphy and Nancy McCartin to Vice President. Each will be responsible for overseeing sales operations in their respective offices.

In addition, Mark, Lisa and Nancy have consistently driven performance for our clients and are always working to develop new business.”
Clowers began his career with Christal in 1998 as a sales assistant in Boston. Throughout his 10 years with Christal, he has held positions as an account executive, senior account executive and, most recently, New York sales manager. Clowers holds a Sports Science degree with a minor in Business Management from the University of North Carolina Greensboro. He is married and resides in New York City.
Desphy is a 12-year veteran of Christal. She began her career with Katz as a sales assistant. Desphy previously held positions as an account executive, senior account executive and sales manager with Christal. She currently works in Christal’s Philadelphia office. Desphy holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Journalism from Norfolk State University. She is married and has a daughter.
McCartin recently held the position of sales manager with Christal Radio. Prior to joining Katz, McCartin served as the Director of Local Corporate Development for the WGBH Educational Foundation. McCartin has also worked for WBZ-AM, Katz Radio Group and has over 20 years of experience in the Boston media community. She holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Art History from Boston College. McCartin currently works in Christal’s Boston office.
